A few weeks ago, I mentioned that one of our cats, an eighteen month old kitten by the name of Pebbles, was fighting an illness. After five weeks of ups and downs, of good news followed by bad, of days where she looked healthy and days when she didn't, Pebble's story finally came to a close last night.
She was my wife's favorite cat. The one who was most likely to purr when rubbed. One of the sweetest cats I've ever had.
Goodbye Pebbles. You will be sorely missed.
Sorry to hear she died so young.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! Furry friends are like family.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about Pebbles, it is always hard to lose a treasured friend.
ReplyDeleteShe was such a pretty little girl. I can imagine how you will miss her. So sorry.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your loss, Ken. I know how difficult it is.
ReplyDeleteOh, no--Pebbles! I'm sorry to hear that your young kitty got so sick. She must have been so precious. Too good for our world. Rest in Peace, sweet kitty.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh… this is SO sad… *hugs to your wife* I wish you could've had many years with her! :(
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this. She will be missed I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry to hear this, Ken. She looks so sweet. I'm sure you and your wife are broken-hearted. My condolences.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I wish to thank you for all the kind thoughts and words. They were much appreciated. We've lost cats before, but only after they'd lived long and productive lives. Having Pebbles taken from us at such a young age was especially devastating. She was also my wife's favorite, which is making it especially rough for her.
ReplyDeleteAgain, thanks for the comments.
