Friday Links -- Volume 39

After a lot of futzing around with my latest chapter, it's finally beginning to come together.  Good thing too, since I'm about at the point where I can't stand to look at it anymore.  :)  I'll polish it a bit more tonight then move on to something else.

I wish you all a great weekend.  And if you haven't already seen it, check out Wednesday's post on Crystal Collier's Cover Reveal.

  1. Glad it's coming together! Did you get your computer fixed?

    1. Yep. Turned out it was only a power supply. Everything's working again. Thanks for asking.

  2. I'm getting that "sick of it" feeling with a couple of the chapters in my current WIP. It's nonfiction, and some events are easier to research than others.

Anyway, I found you via the #mywana hashtag & I wanted to invite you to share this post on the #StoryDam writing chat blog hop. We do a chat about writing each Thursday on Twitter (you are very welcome to join us!) and we then share blog posts on a weekly hop.

I don't want to end up in your spam folder by sharing a link, though. So if you're interested, just pop over to Twitter (I'm @TuiSnider) & I'll tweet you the blog hop link.

I know that other #StoryDam folks would really enjoy the links you've shared here. :)

    Nice to meet you!

  3. Sorry that chapter has annoyed the snot out of you.
And starting at the end with the character arc - that's exactly what I do!

    1. To be honest, this has still been one of the easier chapters for me. I've spent a month trying to fix the shambles of a single chapter!

  4. Of course I had to read the editing post. I guess my prices are still too cheap. But I still get a lot of writers who can't afford a full edit.

Are you interested in a referral for story structure? The price came out way too high for what the book needed. 100,000 words. YA SF.

    Let me know.

    1. It's always a great feeling. I can breath again. The weather seems nicer. The sun feels shinier. You know the feeling.
